The Literacy Coalition is a not-for-profit organization committed to ensuring that every resident of Palm Beach County, Florida is able to read. Our philosophy is best expressed by Kofi Annan, former Secretary-General of the United Nations:

“Literacy is a bridge from misery to hope… (it is) the road to human progress and the means through which every man, woman and child can realize his or her full potential.”

Leadership

We provide amazing adult and children’s literacy programs in Palm Beach County to help our community continue to grow their literacy skills. You can help us by making a donation, volunteering, attending an event and much more.

We offer countywide programs from Jupiter to Boca Raton to Belle Glade providing literacy skills to children, adults, and families.

We share information, tips, and ideas for children, adults, families and teachers to promote and achieve literacy.
