Bestselling Author Elizabeth Berg to Speak at 31st Love of Literacy Luncheon on April 1

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla., March 1, 2022 – The author of the 2021-22 Read Together Palm Beach County book, The Story of Arthur Truluv , Elizabeth Berg, will headline the 31st annual Love of Literacy Luncheon. The benefit is set for 11:30 a.m., April 1, 2022, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach.

 

Read Together Palm Beach County kicked off at the 30th annual Love of Literacy Luncheon held on November 16, 2021, and ends at this year’s luncheon. The Story of Arthur Truluv is about an unlikely friendship that develops among three people, all of whom have lost the one they love most.

 

Berg is the author of many bestselling novels. In addition to The Story of Arthur Truluv, she penned Open House, an Oprah’s Book Club selection, Talk Before Sleep, The Year of Pleasures, and The Day I Ate Whatever I Wanted, a short story collection. Her books Durable Goods and Joy School are American Library Association Books of the Year. Berg also adapted The Pull of the Moon into a play that enjoyed sold-out performances in Chicago and Indianapolis. Her work is published in thirty countries, and three of her novels became television movies.
