Read Together Palm Beach County 2024

Join us for our 14th Read Together Palm Beach County “one-book, one-community” campaign, an initiative in which adults throughout the County read the same book at the same time and attend book discussions hosted by community partners, libraries and book clubs to discuss key themes in the book. The 2024 book selection is Remarkably Bright Creatures. See the Read Together guide and events below.
Come meet the author! Join us for the Read Together Finale on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Duncan Theatre at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth Beach. Author Shelby Van Pelt will be interviewed by Ann Bocock, host of Between the Covers on South Florida PBS.

The 2024 Selected Book is Remarkably Bright Creatures
Written by Shelby Van Pelt, this novel became an instant New York Times Bestseller and a Read With Jenna Today Show book club pick. In 2023, she was awarded the Heartland Prize for Fiction and the McLaughlin-Esstman-Stearns First Novel Prize from The Writer’s Center. The book has sold over two million copies, been reprinted 30 times and spent, in aggregate, more than a year on the New York Times Hardcover Bestseller list.
